REAL OR
VIRTUAL?
An integrated virtual set for television and film production: a project designed to merge real environments, 3D scenery, camera tracking and real-time rendering.
The project
REALITY,
RENDERED.
The “Real or Virtual?” project supported the development of an advanced virtual set for film, advertising and video production. Inside the green-screen studio, three spatially tracked 4K cameras communicate with dedicated graphics workstations to composite subjects and digital environments in real time, with coherent perspective and lighting.
The same infrastructure enables concert and opera previsualisation, virtual scenery, game content, advertising shoots and production workflows that reduce lead times, travel and location constraints.

Dedicated computing power for compositing, virtual scenery and high-quality rendering.
Live integration of performers, set, virtual lighting and 3D graphics during capture.
One environment for shooting, testing, programming and validating.
